Millcam Construction

Corpus Christi, Cambridge University

Millcam were responsible for converting the college’s old Post Room to disabled-friendly accommodation in a 19th Century college building.

The project involved

Complete stripping out of existing rooms to create new living accommodation. Works included removing demolishing and construction of new wetroom, bedroom and kitchen; replacing internal and external doors; checking and refurbishing glazing; general internal fittings; supply and fit flooring; complete redecoration; installing kitchen fittings, furnishings and equipment; sanitary and electrical installations; complete overhaul of plumbing; new ironmongery, and tailor-made carpentry.

"Millcam Builders made a fabulous job of converting our first floor to add another bedroom. The project was well thought-out and the finished job completed to a very high standard, on time and to the originally estimated cost. We couldn't be happier."
